Backbeat Studios was primarily set up to provide a production facility for Backbeat Recording Artists. By word of mouth the studio has opened itself up to acts from other labels who desired the quality and guidance we offer. The word "demo" is never spoken here because that means it 'aint ready to be pressed! We make records here.

Backbeat Studios is designed for tracking, midi-production and mixing and post production. We are convieniently located about 10 minutes outside of Washington DC in comfortable surroundings. Our staff of engineers and producers are not only tech heads but musicians as well. Feel free to contact us about rates, production, or remixing.

Midi Production
At the heart of Backbeat Studios is a custom built 2.56ghz Core Duo with 2 gig of RAM and plenty of hard drive space. We record up to 32 bit direct to disk through Steinberg SX4, (We still have ADAT capability) and have plenty of VST instruments, plugins, and a vast sample library.
