Producer George Mitchell dropped the bomb with this release creating what
he envisioned as "Maceo Parker meets Jimmy Smith in the 90's. This
combination of heavy horn sections, blistering alto sax, Hammond organ
solo's and phat beats and breaks make the term "Acid Jazz" sound
a bit shallow to cover all the flavors covered here.
The debut album from Fishbelly Black.
